The Laurette-Lozeau Gallery, on the second floor of our store, is the place to go to share your passion of photography. Every month, a different exposition takes place to promote different creative currents and amaze you. All the events are free, do not hesitate to come and visit.

What would be an exposition without its vernissage! Every month, we offer artists the chance to share their work with people passionate about photography. Come meet them at the Laurette-Lauzeau Gallery.

Lozeau.com is pleased to devote space on its Web site to show off your photographic masterpieces. Each month, a photograph will be selected and published on this page. Only you can make a success of this page! Send us your best photograph (maximum of one photograph per customer per month) at photodumois@lozeau.com. We can only accept files as follows: JPEG or TIFF, 550 x 366 pixels at 72 dpi.

July 2010-Untitled,  Samy Lamouti

The photo of July was taken at the Côte-des-Neiges station in the Montréal metro, during an urban exploration. Graphic designer by formation, Samy Lamouti focuses primarily on animated imaging, multimedia and audiovisual. Photography takes an important place in his work, but also in everyday life, where he sketches scenes of urban life and gets inspired by the shapes formed by the urban furniture.
